Presented in conjunction with Local Colour: Experiments in Nature at UNSW Galleries, 28 July – 15 September 2018.
'Local Colour: Experiments in Nature' features artists and designers with an interest in sustainable practices, local ecologies and an appreciation for the world’s natural resources. The exhibition highlights the resurgent international shift towards natural dyes, and an increased interest in ‘slow textiles’, the handmade and holistic practice of textile making.
