Orientation Day is a bit like a house-warming party for new students to Semester Two. It's when we show you around, let you get comfortable, introduce you to other students, and generally have a good time. It's an important introduction for new students to university life.

Meet outside the Makerspace, Ground Floor F-Block
These informative 90 minute sessions will introduce you to the making facilities and equipment on the Paddington Campus. Our students have access to resources to realise their creative visions across Ceramics, Metalwork, Jewellery, Printmaking, Screen Printing, Woodwork, Animation Studio, Film Processing and Darkroom, Image Capture Labs, Sound Recording/Editing, Video editing, the BlackBox, Tool Room and Resource Centre as well as our innovative Makerspace (including 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Virtual Reality technology).
Meet at the Library entrance, A-Block
These tours will help orient you to the layout of the library to effectively navigate this key resource. Tours run for 20 minutes.
Intro to Computing Workshop

This workshop will get you off to a flying start, teaching you how to use the Computing Facilities available to you at UNSW Art & Design.
