Nominate people you know with creative talent, including yourself.
In the 21st century, culture and creativity are some of the most powerful driving forces of economic development. Today, Australian Creative Industries straddle economic, political, social, cultural, and technological landscapes.
The New South Wales Creative Achievement Awards are a NSW State Government initiative that acknowledges the important contribution of the creative practitioners to our state.
There are two award categories for which individuals, teams, or organisations can nominate themselves or others:
- The prestigious NSW Creative Laureate Award. This award will go to a candidate that has demonstrated leadership and made a significant contribution to increasing the global profile of NSW Creative Industries. The Award celebrates the very best of the state's creative talent.
- The NSW Emerging Creative Talent Award. This award will go to an emerging creative practitioner who has demonstrated leadership, originality, and innovation, and who has contributed to raising the global profile of NSW Creative Industries. This Award will offer support for future development with a cash prize of $15,000.
Nominations close 11.59pm on Sunday 9 April 2017.
