Designing Bright Futures is a selected showcase of new design work by 2016 UNSW Art & Design Graduates curated by the Australian Design Centre.
Designing Bright Futures features work by eleven graduating student designers across the UNSW Art & Design Bachelor and Master of Design fields including graphics, object, jewellery, textile, interactive and spatial design.
The future focussed works explore and promote ideas of innovation, sustainable practice, capacity for social impact, commercial viability and the role of design in advancing wellbeing.
The Graduate Designers are: Alexander Tanazefti, Blake Griffiths, Cynden Adams, Jessica Ticchio, Jinlong Song and Chat-Kuen Eric Yeung, Lily Hambling, Michael Askew, Nila Rezaei, Rachel Drake and Rebecca Liston.
The exhibition will be opened by Lisa Cahill, Director, Australian Design Centre and Professor Marie Sierra, Deputy Dean and Head of School, UNSW Art & Design.
The winner of the ADC UNSW Art & Design Award will be announced on opening night.
