Good Neighbours opens at Artbank

In 2015, Artbank partnered with Create NSW on a two-year project, Good Neighbours, with the purpose of acquiring new artworks for the collection and increasing visibility for New South Wales artists who identify as living with a disability.
The project has culminated in an exhibition with the same name now on at Artbank in Waterloo and curated by Miriam Kelly and Daniel Mudie Cunningham.
Reflecting on themes of community, family, friendship, and fun, Good Neighbours honours the important relationships between contemporary artists including peers who identify as living with a disability.
Exhibiting artists include; Liam Benson, Harriet Body (UNSW Art & Design), Matthew Calandra, David Capra (UNSW Art & Design), Emily Crockford, Rosie Deacon (UNSW Art & Design), John A Douglas (UNSW Art & Design), Peter Dudding, Laura Jones (UNSW Art & Design), Stefan Kater, Daniel Kojta, Nadia Lolas, Anthony Mannix, Meagan Pelham, Robert Thom Smith, Greg Sindel, Wart, Digby Webster, and Paul Williams (UNSW Art & Design).
